Overall the design of the Hero is sleek and contemporary.
With Hero, HTC has even fallen into all too known pitfalls. The 5 mbps camera is not great and the zooming controls mounted on the trackball makes it uncomfortable to manage. Full blown use of all the applications in the Hero would result in a dead battery before the end of the day. And for the radiation conscious the SAR (Radiation) rating of 1.13 is fairly on the higher side.
In generally with Hero, HTC has guaranteed a great phone with a brilliant design which can potentially keep Apple and Nokia on their toes.
